If you’re anything like me, you are obsessed with the Bath and Body works line of hand soaps. I would never be caught dead without one of their pumps next to my sink. The thought of buying some cheap grocerystore brand (like Softsoap – gasp!) was infuriating for some reason. So, because I was so against them, I dragged myself to the store to see what I could find that was comparable to my precious BBW. What I found was interesting. I was drawn to the Tone Hand Soap because the scent was Island Mist (hmm, sounds yummy) and the fact that it’s a foaming soap (how very airplane bathroom of them) was intriguing to me. Anyways, I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. The scent is fantastic and my hands feel just as clean as with my Bath and Body soaps. I’m not a huge fan of the foaming (even just writing the word makes me think of rabid animals) because I never got to work up that great lather. I know the lather isn’t necessary for cleanliness but there’s something really satisfying about it. Anyways, aside from the foaming issue, this soap is great. It’s only $1.50 for a pump (much less than my $5.00 bottles from BBW) and smells just as good. Now, if Tone could get off their lazy butts and create more than two scents, they might get me to switch over. Doubtful... but they could certainly put forth the A+ effort and try to tempt me away from my BBW.
