I think Poppy King's story is really cool. I just love so much that she started her own lipstick brand when she was only 18 just because she couldn't find any lipsticks that she liked. (Why am I not that motivated? When I find a lipstick that I don't like, I just... buy more of them. That is clearly why I am not an entrepreneur). Poppy's newest additions to her lipstick empire are the Butterfly Ball lipsticks. The shades are sheer and shimmery and they have a hint of turquoise that catches the light, which helps make your teeth look whiter. They're available in five different colors, all of which were inspired by Mohammad Ali's famous quote "I float like a butterfly, sting like a bee." (Another reason why Poppy is so cool. She named her lipsticks after a famous athlete instead of just like, colors in the rainbow). I tested out Moment, Trance, and Goodbye and I really liked them. The shades look dark in the tubes, but they apply a lot sheerer, so they give you color without being overwhelming. (I can even put them on without looking in a mirror, which is my true "ease of application" test). They're also very moisturizing for a lipstick - they apply almost like a gloss, so they won't dry your lips out. Definitely another thumbs up from Poppy.
