I Heart Plein Air Life

I have such a deep love and respect for small companies who are founded on the passion to create wonderful products. As I stumbled happily through a local craft fair I was delighted to find such a company right here in the Los Angeles area. Plein Air Life is a small, but rapidly growing, company out of Laguna Niguel, CA who pride themselves on creating handmade products using the best stuff possible (no petroleum by-products!) to help us look and feel amazing. I was so impressed with the few items I bought at the craft fair, I actually trekked all the way to another festival, almost an hour away, just so I could stock up on more goodies. What can I say, I have an addictive personality. They sell the most incredible sugar scrubs I have ever used. If you’re looking for a non-calorie caffeinated treat in the morning that won’t actually make your heart race, you need to try their coffee sugar scrub. I can’t stop sniffing myself - it seems like I may have a problem. The scent is delicious and the scrub makes your skin irresistibly soft – think baby’s butt. It doesn’t contain any harsh ingredients and a little goes a long way. I also bought the Vanilla Sandalwood sugar scrub which has such a sexy, alluring scent to it. My husband couldn’t stop commenting on how great I smell. Note: Do I normally smell nasty? Plein Air Life also has a deliciously addictive line of lip balms and lip blushes which are so reasonably-priced I scooped up a bunch of them. All the lip balms are incredibly moisturizing and smell exactly like their names suggest.  The Mint Chocolate one is my absolute fave! The lip blushes share the same amazing ingredients as the lip balms, and are just as moisturizing, but also tout a sheer lip tint and a sweet mint scent. Usually a tint would be drying to the lips, but this one is not at all. I am wearing the Bordeaux as I type this and it’s a very flattering deep red shade that anyone could wear (no orange undertones here and not too bright). It actually gives my lips that sexy-just-bitten glow (think hot guy, not rabid dog). They also carry lotions, salt scrubs, soaps, soy candles (which burn very evenly and smell amazing) and essential oils. They're trying to get their line into boutique shops this summer, but until then, we'll have to settle for festivals and online shopping.  As a special offer to all the ProductWhores readers, Kenneth and Danny (the awesome creators/owners of Plein Air Life) have given us a special deal - either mention ProductWhores in the comments section, or type PW76A into the coupon code and you'll get $5.00 off $25.00. Pretty soon you’ll be addicted, too. I just know it.
