Np2 Gives Back!

Np2 Nail Perfection is an innovative nail polish duo which combines brilliant color with strengthening top coat - all in the same little totem pole of a container.  Not only is this a great product, but during the month of February if you purchase any of their red polishes, 10% of your sale goes directly to the American Heart Association.  A fantastic product raising money for a fantastic cause.  The perfect duo, I think.

Absolute Nail Perfection

Np2 clearly is the most brilliant company ever because they came up with the ingenious idea of having a base coat, color and top coat all in one slick little totem pole of a nail polish bottle.  Unscrew the top portion and apply the base coat.  Then, unscrew the bottom section and apply the rich color.  Lastly, unscrew the top portion again and it's a top coat.  Awe-some.  My fave color is Definitive, which is a rich brown-ginger color which has some shimmery copper to it when it hits the light.  Fantastic staying power and somewhat quick dry application, these nail colors are a definite must-have.  Love, love, love them.  And what a cute present for someone (think upcoming Valentines Day) because they are only $22.00 and come with free shipping within the continental U.S.  I'm laughing right now at the thought of my husband trying to pick out a nail color for me.

Breast Cancer Awareness

I haven't tried any of the new Np2 nail polishes yet, but the bottles are super cute.  You get a 2-in-1 duo of a durable chip-resistant express top coat and a color base coat.  The brand launched with 32 colors, including a Fall/Holiday Collection.  All the Np2 bottles snap apart, so you can mix and match shades, which is kind of a cool idea (especially when you're traveling).  Also, the entire line is free of Toluene, Formaldehyde and DBP.  The only drawback is that the polishes are expensive at $22.50 a bottle, although I guess the fact that you're getting two products for that price makes it a little more reasonable.  But what really caught my eye is that to celebrate National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Np2 will contribute a 25% donation from sales of their pink polishes to Breast Cancer Awareness.  (You can find the pink polishes here).  I really love it when companies give back - it makes me like them so much more and takes away (some of) the guilt from shopping.  It's a win-win!
