Serious Style Boost

I can honestly say that I have never been scared by a beauty product before.  I know it sounds ridiculous, but I just tried the new Hairstay Style Boost by KMS California and it actually made me scream!  First with shock, then with absolute delight.  If you were here you would be laughing because I actually squealed, which made both my dogs perk up - notice I said "perk up" and not "run to save me from an attacker" because they are lazy.  This new innovative product from KMS California features pomegranate and pepper (sounds strange, but it smells delicious) and actually transforms from foam to liquid right before your eyes.  It says on the bottle to "crackle, cool and expand" before applying but I had no idea it was actually going to crackle like pop rocks and then cool in my hand.  So awesome!  Aside from the fun texture and crackly noise, this stuff has serious holding power (without any feeling of stiffness or stickiness in my hair) and really makes my hair soft and smell fantastic.  I love this product and will definitely keep it as my go-to styler.  What more could you want, really?  A styler that works AND is fun to play with!

KMS is Gonna Rock You

While I love the idea of Kusco-Murphy’s Beach Hair to give me sexy, piecey hair I could never overlook the stickiness and the fact it always makes my hair look dirty and dreadlocked - I find it great for going out and rubbing my body against men at clubs, but not for everyday wear.  I also excitedly tried  DuWop’s Hands 2 Hair Creme – fantastic idea, but it never really improved the look of my hair, it only moisturized my hands.  Well, I have finally found something I can actually work with.  KMS has a delightful grit (KMS Hair Play) that makes your hair piecey and sexy, but not sticky.  With a delicious mango/tropical scent, my head smells yummy.  Slightly gritty texture makes for some fun scrunching, but doesn’t leave my hands ridiculously covered in gunk.  Also, it leaves my hair with a glossy shine.  While this wouldn’t be a product for someone who wants a lot of hold, it will definitely give your hair body and sexy waves but you won’t look like you should be at a Phish concert.
