Oh, Kerastase. How I love thee. Your products might be expensive, but they never let me down. (And that's more than I can say about most things in my closet!) Their newest product, Chroma Thermique, is great. It's a heat-activated liquid that you scrunch into your color-treated hair before you blow dry to protect it from the harmful (and drying) effects of the heated tools that you use to style your hair (blow dryer, straightener, etc...) What's really great about it is that (at least on me) it also works as a leave-in conditioner, making my hair surprisingly tangle-free as I start the styling process. (And my hair is long, so usually knots are pretty inevitable). It leaves my hair shiny and soft to the touch, and really smooth once I put down my blow dryer. I love that it's protecting my hair at the same time that it's making it look fabulous. (And it smells fantastic!) It is $36, so that's the one drawback, but you really only need to use a small amount and that helps make it more economical. If you color your hair and are looking for a product to make it look fantastic as you transition into fall weather, check this product out. It'll turn you into one of those women in the Pantene commercials who are constantly whipping their heads around to show off their locks! (I caught myself doing it in the mirror last night and it was actually kind of fun. Sssh. Don't tell anyone).
