Boscia's Pore Purifying Black Strips are a product I'd been meaning to try since I heard about them, but I'd never gotten around to it. As usual when it comes to my laziness, that totally bit me in the ass because these things are awesome. They're a cinch to use - basically, all you do is take a strip out of its package, smooth it on over your nose, then press down so it's stuck to your skin. Then you just leave it on for 15 minutes or so before peeling it off to reveal much cleaner skin and no blackheads. Genius! I was slightly worried that it would sting when I was taking it off because the package has a few warnings on it, but either Boscia is just being super cautious or my skin is bulletproof because it didn't hurt at all. And when you peel it off, you can totally tell that it's done its job, both by your clear skin, but also because you can see what's come off on the strip. (Totally gross, I know, but at least you know you're not throwing your money away!) For a variety of reasons, I haven't gotten a facial lately, so I really like knowing that in between my visits to a spa, I can use these to keep my nose blackhead-free. A package of six is $15, which might seem steep, but you're only supposed to use them one to two times per week max and even that seems kind of a lot to me. I feel like I would use one of them every two weeks or so and that would be enough to keep my skin clean, but it's possible I'm overestimating that. Either way, if you compare it to how expensive facials are, $15 is a total bargain. Oh, the things we do for beauty...
