Age Resistant Lip Gloss

With the holiday season fast approaching (seriously, I almost collapsed when I heard the Christmas carols and saw Sephora all decked out in ornaments and it isn't even Thanksgiving yet), I realize it's time to start thinking about all those presents you have to find.  A little something that might be perfect for your mom (if she's anything like mine) is the new Age Resistant Lip Gloss by Become Beauty.  The formula is wonderful - very moisturizing, contains some active ingredients to promote collagen production, and it comes in three lovely, sheer colors that would look great on anyone.  What I think is downright amazing is that this is a lip gloss which actually plumps slightly but doesn't have that weird, stingy feeling most plumping products have.  The sheer colors, fruity scent and lasting shine make this an all-around great gloss.  My fave of the three is Berry - a deep red which gives lips a slight burgundy tint and fantastic shine.  Retails for $16.00.

Become Firmer and More Toned

 

I am pretty sure that I'm allergic to working out.  Every time I put on my workout clothes and sneakers, my body forces me to sit back on my couch and catch up on "Gossip Girl" episodes, which can only mean that my body is preventing a horrible allergic reaction.  To thank my ever-so-insightful body, I don't require any firming or toning of it - instead, I totally love to firm and tone my skin (bonus - this can be accomplished while watching television).  Become Beauty (the Aussie company that has made me a monster for their highly-addicting and amazingly luxurious hand cream) has just released a brand new mineral foundation that is simply beautiful (say this with a thick Aussie accent and you've just become all my in-laws).  Firm and Tone Mineral Foundation is a light, tinted moisturizer which contains an SPF of 30.  The cream goes on beautifully, masks redness and gives the skin a healthy glow.  It smells almost citrus-y and is not sticky at all.  Because it's a tinted moisturizer, don't expect full coverage (duh) but expect a slight color and the best in sun protection.  Also, this stuff actually firms and tones the skin so you can give your face the boost it needs without setting foot in that pesky gym.  Retails for $39.00.

My Eyes Have It

If I love something, I always take it too far and never shut up about it which I think pretty much annoys everyone around me.  I mean, okay, New Kids on the Block - didn't shut up for all of 1989.  High School boyfriend - didn't shut up for all of 1993 and then when he dumped me, didn't shut up again for all of 1994.  Whatever, you see where I'm going with this.  I focus...entirely too much.  Products are no different for me.  I haven't shut up about Become Beauty since I was introduced to them earlier this year and here I am, still going on and on about them.  I have been dilligently slathering their Age Resistant Eye Cream on and I am (no surprise) very impressed.  It sinks in almost immediately, has a very pleasantly light fragrance and soothes and cools the eye area - really reducing puffiness.  Aside from containing Pearl Extract which brightens the area, it also contains Matrixyl 3000 which promotes collagen production (helps to reduce fine lines and wrinkles - I think it sounds like a space station).  I adore how incredibly moisturizing and how reasonably priced the eye cream is (for a big ol jar of the stuff).  It retails for $39.00 and comes in their signature, adorable, red container.

Face Masks Don't Have to be Messy

You'll Become A Huge Fan

As if I didn’t already love Aussies enough (my husband is one, so I’m slightly biased) I recently discovered an incredible line of Australian products here in the U.S. Hooray! While I thought I had already been introduced to the best hand creams in existence, I had yet to meet Age Resistant Rejuvenating Hand Cream by Become which quickly slid in and took first place for me. Not only does this stuff smell of sweet orange with a hint of mint (it actually really smells like Vanilla-Orange cake, which as I type it sounds really yummy if this concoction exists) but it also sinks in immediately without any greasy after-feel. I adore that they test only on Australians (picture Foster-drinking people with koalas and kangaroos as testers) and the price is completely affordable ($15.00). Aside from sinking in quickly, the formula is especially moisturizing and contains glycerin, which means your hands actually stay moisturized throughout the day. I just can’t get behind certain Aussie things - Vegemite, Coffee in a tube or calling Burger King Hungry Jack’s, but this line I definitely am a fan of.
