What A Stud!

This is kind of an update on a post from earlier this month.  So I totally broke down and bought one of the NARS Hardwired Eyeshadows, despite the fact that I realllllly shouldn't be spending money right now on non-necessities.  (Is eyeshadow really not a necessity though?  I feel like I could prove it is in a court of law, if it came to that).  I kept visiting them at Sephora and I finally just broke down and bought one because well, I think they're limited edition and they're SO pretty and I just needed at least one in case they all go away. Surprisingly, once I put a couple on at the store, Stud (a soft Pewter Bronze) was the clear winner of the shades in that color family.  (I'd already decided that was the way I was going).  I "almost" bought Parallex (a metallic dove grey), but as much as I love it (and it would be the next one I buy, if that ever happens) I felt like I had a few shadows that were really similar.  But Stud is just flat out gorgeous on - it shimmers and sparkles and makes my green eyes look even greener - and I just couldn't pass it up.  I feel like I'll wear it a ton, especially after playing around with it and seeing how I can make it subtle or more dramatic for a smoky eye.  It's just all around fabulous.  Highly, highly recommend picking this one up (all of them, really).  Nice work, NARS!
