I've FINALLY gotten around to testing out Revlon's fairly new Colorstay Gel Envy nail colors. Mostly because I was in search of a good pinky-brown nude shade and had a coupon for Revlon at CVS, but still. Trying them out is finally happening! I realllly love the color (it's called Perfect Pair), although I do think that in person, it's a tiny bit browner than in the photo above. It's the perfect pinkish nude shade for my fair skin, and I bought it with the Colorstay Gel Envy Diamond Top Coat because I always need to use the formulas together. I'm a big fan of the brush the color comes with - it's not too big, so it's easy to control where the polish goes and I got less on the sides of my fingers than usual. I just used it for the first time tonight so I'm not sure yet how long the wear will be, but I'm hopeful. And I will say this, it definitely delivers on the shine part that they promise. My nails are SUPER shiny. Like, enough so that I noticed it before I even knew that that was one of the claims they made. I'm really hoping the staying power on these is good because now that I have the top coat, all I need is some more shades. (At less than $10 each without coupons or discounts, they're affordable enough to own all your favorite colors). I really am envying my own nails right now!
