I have had a recent obsession with trying every single salt spray on the market. Honestly, as much as I hate lounging at the beach I absolutely love the beachy-hair look, so a good salt spray is my best friend. As I type this I am staring at a line-up of all the ones I've recently purchased. Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray, DryBar Mai Tai Spritzer, Alterna Bamboo Beach Summer Ocean Waves Texture Spray, Macadamia Professional Texturizing Salt Spray, Fekkai Soleil Beach Waves Tousling Spray, Marc Anthony Dream Waves Beach Spray and evo Salty Dog Cocktail Beach Spray. Some of them have left my hair super crunchy (Bumble and Bumble and DryBar), some have left my hair sticky (Macadamia Professional and Marc Anthony) and some have done absolutely nothing at all (Alterna). My second-fave is Fekkai's version mostly because it creates some good waves and smells yummy, but my absolute fave (and the only one I would repurchase) is evo's Salty Dog Cocktail Beach Spray. This spray gives my hair some nice waves and body and smells so beachy I can't inhale it enough! I have very straight hair so finding a beach spray that works has definitely been a challenge - but a fun one at that! evo is a great company out of Australia who has really unique products and even though they're on the pricey-side they are worth a check. I remember years ago I was at Cosmoprof in Vegas and was first introduced to them and they do not disappoint. Salty Dog, you are my go-to and the best way to look beachy without any contact with actual sand... and without my having to wear a swimsuit!
