I'm always (and I mean ALWAYS) looking for great new face products. Because I'm convinced they make a big difference, but also because after all the time I've put into protecting my skin from the sun, I'll be damned if I'm going to look old before my time because I was too lazy to wash/tone/moisturize my face at night and went to bed a few minutes early. My latest skincare regimen that I'm obsessed with is the Intraceuticals Opulence line.
The line has five different products in it and they come labeled with the steps and the order you're supposed to use them in, which makes it all super simple. First comes Prepare (Brightening Cleanser), Revive (Daily Serum), Replenish (Hydration Gel and if you need it, the Brightening Wand) and Protect (Moisture Brightening Cream). It's considered a three step Hyaluronic layering, which is an Intraceuticals ingredient system, so all the products are designed to work together for the most effective results. (I kind of love when it's THIS simple and easy to treat your skin so well). I haven't used the Brightening Wand (only because I don't need it yet) but the other four products are ah-mazing. (Please read that it in a Valley girl voice because it makes it so much better). I have sensitive skin and a lot of products that are supposed to be non-irritating don't actually work out that way, but this regime actually gets my skin super clean, while at the same time keeping it really well hydrated and protected against aging. (And there's no redness or irritation at all, which is key when you have sensitive skin). Plus, I absolutely LOVE the bottles. You twist the caps to bring up the pump, which you then press down to dispense the product. This may seem like a silly point, but it's actually not because it keeps you from wasting any of the product, plus it means that you can travel with the entire regime without risking any leaks, which is major. (Because the one thing to consider about these products is they definitely are on the higher end of the price scale - they range from $49 for the Brightening Cleanser to $149 for the Daily Serum). I know that's expensive, but it's what high end products cost and I do think with skin care, you get what you pay for. So if you can afford it, these are definitely worth splurging on. Your skin'll thank you!
