Ahhh, Urban Decay's shadow palettes. My secret obsession in life. (Okay, fine, my NOT so secret obsession...) The latest one I was finally able to get my hands on is Vice3 and it's every bit as good as I knew it would be. It's filled with twenty shades of buttery soft shadow, all of them BRAND NEW to Urban Decay, so you're not gonna have any of these already in your stash. Not a single one! And as per usual, there's a great range of color - everything from Truth (a pale-pink nude matte) to Revolver (a soft black satin w/subtle floating iridescent pearl). There's also a bunch of bright shades, which I personally love because I don't buy them very often on their own, so this way I can have them at my disposal right along side more neutral shades to temper them with. I haven't played around with it much yet, but my early standout shades are Brokedown (a metallic golden brown shimmer w/gold micro-glitter - SO pretty), Bondage (a deep, smoky burgundy shimmer) and Freeze (a metallic medium blue w/multidimensional micro-glitter - not a shade I would usually go for, but I just love this one). I also am super happy that the packaging on this one is much, much thinner than on past UD shadow palettes - it makes it a thousand times easier to pack or travel with and since that's usually a goal of mine, it makes me love it even more. At $60, it would make a great gift for the makeup lover in your life... or you could just hog it all to yourself (don't feel guilty- it's what I'm doing!) Happy holidays to me!
