My hair is super long now, which is both good and bad. Good because I kinda like the way it looks, bad because it seems to get tangled and break at a rapid rate that I never noticed before. (I assume because there's more of it?) I've seriously shed more hair lately than I can even describe - it was kind of freaking me out for awhile because I was starting to think I was going to wake up bald one day, but since I don''t seem to notice a difference in the actual way my hair looks, I guess I shouldn't panic about turning into Telly Savalas just yet. But that being said, I still want to do everything I can to try and reverse the situation before it does turn into a problem, so I started using Alterna's Caviar Clinical Daily Densifying Foam. It's a foam treatment that you put in your wet hair after washing that thickens and strengthens your hair, also preventing loss from breakage. It's super easy to use - it's basically just like putting mousse in your hair (welcome back, 1991!) and it definitely gives my hair a thicker feel. It's hard to tell just how much hair loss it's stopping because, well, that's a hard thing to measure, but I've had really good luck with Alterna products before, so I'm willing to bet it's helping in that department. (Plus, as long as it's making it stronger, that's preventing breakage all on its own). Bring on the foam!
