Aren't the words "Midnight Romance" the best combination ever for a perfume? Tell me you don't hear those two words together and instantly get a mental picture of what the fragrance will be like. Because I did and it was pretty much exactly what I thought when I finally spritzed it on. With notes of peony, raspberry, vanilla and ambrox (side note - what on earth is ambrox? I know I could google it, but I kind of like that there's a word I've literally never heard of before out there) it's sweet and floral and very feminine. It's light enough that you could wear it during the day, but definitely appropriate for date night too. (Versatile!) It definitely doesn't remind me of the original Romance scent either - Midnight is sort of a warmer, muskier fragrance. I actually think I like it better on myself, but your mileage may vary. It's been permanently added to my fragrance rotation (I know - the number one sign that you have too many perfumes is when you can use the words "fragrance rotation" and actually mean it). Thanks, Ralph!
