When I first saw Marc Jacob's newest summer scent, Honey, I thought "man, that is the most adorable bottle ever!" I love the polka dots and adore the fact they kept with the butterfly theme used on Dot, but added the bee-like stripes and large pearls to the bottle. So lovely! And with such a delightful bottle obviously has to come a wonderful scent. While I still like Dot better than Honey, Honey is a close second for sure. It's fresh with a slight floral kick. It's elegant and vibrant and definitely sexy. I love that the ever-so-slightly floral mixed with the woodsy actually makes such an unexpectedly clean, fresh fragrance which lasts the better part of the day. While I don't feel the name "honey" sums up what I smell (I feel like honey would smell more sweetly vanilla), this is a definite must-have scent for anyone looking for something refreshingly sexy. Top notes are pear, fruity punch, juicy mandarin. Heart of the fragrance features orange blossom, peach nectar, honeysuckle. Base notes are honey, golden vanilla, smooth woods. Retails at Sephora and Sephora.com.
Note: A sample of this fragrance was sent to me by a PR representative working with Marc Jacobs
