You know how you have those products that you use all the time for awhile and then you just run out or find something new and forget about it for a long time? And then one day you're rooting around in your cabinet and you find a bottle of it and you're like, "Hhmm, I think I remember liking this," so you try it again and then you're all, "Why did I ever stop using this? It's awesome!" That happened to me this past week with Aveeno's Active Naturals Skin Relief 24 Hour Moisturizing Lotion, Fragrance Free. (I know, it's like, the longest name for a lotion ever. Clearly, whoever was in charge of naming it got paid by the word. How can I get that deal going?) I used to use Aveeno lotion all the time, but then I'd bought this one and never opened it until recently. And you guys, it's such an awesome, budget-friendly choice. I paid less than $10 for an 18 ounce bottle and I love it. It's not greasy at all, but it moisturizes really well and I love that it's made for sensitive skin, so it doesn't irritate me at all. It's been great to use on the random shoulder and neck sunburn I got last weekend walking around a flea market because I have the world's fairest skin and apparently, exposing it to even a hint of sun for less than an hour now practically gives me a third degree burn. It's kind of crazy. I also love that it's not scented at all because I hate when I find a good lotion, but it clashes with my perfume because then I have to do a Sophie's choice every morning about which one to use. And I don't make good choices before 10am and two cups of coffee. But I'm super happy that I've rediscovered Aveeno lotion because it's pretty perfect. And apparently, Jennifer Aniston is their spokesperson now, which... I know it's kind of popular to be all jaded about her, but I've always just kind of liked her. She lost her husband to Angelina Jolie in front of the whole world! How badly must that've sucked? Plus, she has gorgeous skin, so if she really is using a lot of Aveeno, that's a really good sign. Aveeno for everyone!
This is really an informative post for me and the things discussed above are quite helpful for me.I also liked the idea that includes keeping the lotion fragrance free.
