Let's Go Dancing

Even though OPI's new New York City Ballet collection isn't officially out until April, my local beauty supply store already had its display out when I stopped in this past weekend.  Normally I'm not in love with sheer shades as much as I want to be, but these are so pretty, I couldn't resist picking two of the shades up.  I grabbed My Pointe Exactly, which is a sheer gray that has almost a jelly-like consistency, and I definitely couldn't pass up the shade above, Pirouette My Whistle.  You guys, it's fabulous.  It's a glittery top coat that's a sheer base with silver sparkles and then these chunky silver hexagonal pieces.  So ridiculously pretty.  Like everyone else who bought them I'm sure, I layered the two, putting three coats of My Pointe Exactly (because it's so sheer) under two coats of Pirouette My Whistle and I love the way the combo looks.  It's fun and funky without being too in your face or inappropriate for work.  I can't wait to try it over some other polishes I already own, but that'll have to wait until I'm sick of this combo and I'm not even close to there yet.  It's too gorgeous.  I can't stop wearing glitters!
