Sparkle Glamour Quad

I made a firm promise to myself that I wouldn't buy any makeup last weekend.  Which, I'm proud to say, I held strong on until the very end of Sunday, when I had to run to the mall to return something.  I knew I was going to be tempted so I made sure to avoid the makeup counter at Macy's AND I didn't even go into Sephora, but then on my way out, I totally forgot and walked right by the Bobbi Brown counter and before I knew it, I'd been sucked in and was standing in front of the register, debit card in hand.  But really, can you blame me?  I'm sorry, but there was no way I was resisting the Sparkle Glamour Quad once I saw it.  I love sparkles around the holidays and this palette totally delivers.  It has four shadows in it - Pink Glitter Sparkle Eye Shadow, Smoky Sparkle Eye Shadow, Moonlight Sparkle Eye Shadow and Sandy Sparkle Eye Shadow - but then it also has a gorgeous gold shadow outlining the entire palette.  (I love how cool that is.  It totally took the palette from "want to have" to "must buy immediately" for me).  I haven't played around with the palette too much yet, but from the one look I did do with it, I can tell I'm going to really like it.  The shadows were all smooth and blended well and I like the subtle sparkle they bring with them.  (It's not so subtle that you can't see it, but it's not a crazy, in your face glitter party either).  The palette is $40, so it's not super cheap, but Bobbi Brown's always been a bit pricey so that's nothing new.  (And it's not an every day sort of palette, so it'll at least last a long time).  Bring on the holiday parties!
