At Cosmoprof this year, I was lucky enough to meet the hilarious guys at Rahua and was able to check out their products. They have an incredible line of hair products that not only smell fantastic but really have made a significant difference in my hair. After just one use of their shampoo and conditioner, my hair looked so shiny and smooth (even in the Los Angeles heat) that even my co-workers noticed a difference (man, I wonder what crap my hair looked like before). Both Rahua Shampoo and Rahua Conditioner are made with organic and 100% natural ingredients, including Rahua nut oil (a spectactular nut found only in the Amazon which actually fortifies weak/damaged hair leaving it shiny). The scent comes from the Palo Santo oil which, to me, smells lightly of lemon with a hint of mint. The Rahua Finishing Treatment is out of control amazing. I have never used such a great leave-in cream before. Really hydrates dry ends and left my hair completely frizz-free. I also used it in my friend's very frizzy/curly hair and it smoothed out her curls - leaving her hair looking gorgeous. The entire line is a definite must-buy. It's pricey, but so, so worth it. I'm telling you, my hair has never looked better. Also, before I left the Rahua guys, they gave me a tiny sample (I'm dying to buy the full-size!) Voluminous Hairspray which releases this fall. Absolutely incredible - it has a great lemongrass scent and really gives hold without stickiness.
The entire collection is free of synthetics, parabens and sulfates and is 100% natural and 100% vegan. Amazon Beauty (who makes the Rahua brand) has partnered with indigenous tribes to create a new potent breed of Symbiotic cosmetics.
