Even though it's almost summer and it's basically time to be wearing lighter shades on my fingers, I cannot stop wearing OPI's Midnight in Moscow. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it. It looks lighter in the picture above, but on my fair skin, it comes out seeming almost like a black with a hint of ruby or (depending on the light) a smoky purple. (OPI's official description calls it "Charcoal with a hint of maroon glimmer.") It looks really great on my nails, which are on the shorter side at the moment - it's just a sophisticated, basic shade that looks good no matter what you wear it with. It's from OPI's Russian Collection, but I just recently bought it at a beauty supply store near me and they had several bottles available, so I think it might be part of the permanent line now. I've had it on my fingers for close to two weeks now, but every time I start to think about changing it, I found myself thinking, "Nope, too soon." I'm pretty fickle with my polish - the last time I got this attached to a shade was Metro Chic from the Sephora by OPI line. (I swear, that color was on my fingers and toes for the entire summer last year. I loved it so much). Midnight in Moscow might be trying to break that record!
