I don't know how I have missed the David Babaii line of hair products for this long - and I call myself a product whore! Not only do they offer styling products which are high quality, but they're cheap cheap cheap! And, if that wasn't enough, they donate 10% of all their profits to WildAid (www.wildaid.org) - a non-profit organization which works with communities to help reverse the damage done to our planet's wildlife. So, you beautify yourself while simultaneously beautifying the planet. While the full line is great, my stand-out faves are the Amplifying Whipped Mousse (gives serious body), Bohemian Beach Spray (comparable to more expensive competitors) and the Hair Polish (sleek style without crunchiness). Amplifying Whipped Mousse smells of coconut (delicious) and melts into hair without leaving any crunchy or sticky residue. I love how it adds body to my hair and the light summer scent is perfect for freshening up my style on a morning where I'm too rushed to shower (whatever, don't judge me).
Bohemian Beach Spray gives the perfect "spent the day at the beach" look - soft, tousled waves - slightly sticky as if sea water made it's way through your hair (I know that doesn't sound appealing but I swear it looks stunning). Oddly enough this spray actually contains sea water from the Dead Sea so you really are putting the ocean in your hair which makes me giggle. I love the fresh scent and this stuff is great on wet or dry hair. It will get hard if you use on wet hair, so be sure to toss your fingers through while you blow out.
Hair Polish is a light gel that doesn't smell great (it's not offensive, either, it's just not as fabulous smelling as the two products mentioned above), but what it lacks in scent it more than makes up for in ability to smooth. I use it on dry hair to tame frizziness - which it does beautifully. It doesn't leave hair feeling stiff and I am impressed with the high quality of this stuff considering it only costs $9.95. It contains Wheat and Rice proteins which offer natural damage control.
