When I received the new scent, Parisienne, from Yves Saint Laurent, I thought the bottle was so pretty and there, unfortunately, is where my compliments end. From the very second I spritzed this on my arm, I wanted to gag. I never thought it would be possible to bottle the scent of an old woman and a cedar chest so perfectly. And here's the thing, I don't mean to disrespect older women because honestly, the older ladies I know would never wear this, but the stereotypical "old woman" scent is definitely what I first noticed. While staying power in a perfume is usually a good thing, in this instance I was cursing the staying power because all the scrubbing in the world couldn't get the smell off of me. Save your money on this one.
Note: A sample of this perfume was sent to me by a PR representative working with Yves Saint Laurent.
