Baked Goodness

I love anything baked.  Brownies, cookies, lasagna... Hell, I even like baked potato chips and I think we can all agree that while edible, they're nowhere near as good as the "real" ones.  Laura Gellar's Baked Cake Eyeliner Duos are my new favorite baked product that won't send me running to the gym in shame.  Each compact comes with two different shades in it that you can apply wet or dry depending on the coverage that you want.  What I'm really loving is applying them wet and then smudging the line for a dramatic, smoky eye look.  (Is it weird that I'm all about the smoky eye in the summer?  I think it's been so hot in L.A. that I'm just trying to will it to be winter so I can stop sweating).  Once the liner is on, it really stays put (even through the sweating!) and I really like that it's easy to blend because it makes fixing my inevitable mistakes a lot easier.  Out of the four available, my favorite shade is the Blueberry/Dutch Chocolate - it's a gorgeous matte dark brown with a shimmering dark blue and they two of them look great smudged together.  My second fave is the Plum Pudding/Black Forest duo - the Black Forest is a black with micro glitter that's perfect for a night out.  Love!
