Island Paradise

In the dead of winter, who doesn't want to wear a scent that reminds them of summer?  Island Michael Kors Bermuda is exactly that - one spritz and I'm instantly transported to a tropical location (instead of, you know, my apartment kitchen, which is cute, but I wouldn't exactly describe it as "paradise").  The scent opens with notes of freesia, hibiscus, tropical green notes and cassis buds.  The heart of the fragrance is very floral, with white tiare blossoms, pink peony and orange flower, and the fragrance winds down with the aura of driftwood paired with a soft skin accord (which totally made me laugh when I read it because driftwood?  Really?  I didn't even know driftwood had a scent!) and authentic cedarwood.  The notes don't really describe it very well - what I think of most when I spritz it on is going on vacation and dancing on a sandy beach under a gorgeous, starry sky.  (Not that I've ever done this, but it sounds fun, right?  Unless the beach was cold at night and full of bugs, which is usually my experience).  I'd probably wear this at night more than during the day, but it's definitely light enough for the daytime.  Now I just need a tropical vacation to go along with my tropical fragrance and I'll be all set...
