Ralph Lauren's new fragrance, Notorious, is described as a "sparkling, spiced oriental." I have yet to smell it, but that description totally intrigues me, since I tend to like oriental fragrances, especially when I'm going out at night. I think a weekend trip to Sephora is in order! (Although, let's be honest, when is it not?) With top notes of Black Currant, Spicy Pink Peppercorn and Italian Bergamot, mid notes of Chocolate Cosmos, White Frost Peonies, Fiery Carnation, and base notes of Patchouli Musk, Vanilla, Orris, I'm really curious to sniff this scent. I'm especially intrigued by the inclusion of Chocolate Cosmos, which according to the press release is "a decadent, chocolate-scented burgundy flower" (yum!) and is being used for the first time ever in Notorious. You can check out a short 60 second film that's kicking off the ad campaign here. (It stars Laetitia Casta, one of my favorite models because she actually looks like she's eaten a cheeseburger once or twice in her life). And as a total side note, am I the only person who's reminded of Tori Spelling's VH-1 show whenever I use the phrase "So Notorious?" Probably. I watch WAY too much television...
Notorious is available in three Eau de Parfum sprays: 2.5 ounces for $85, 1.7 ounces for $65 and 1 ounce for $45. It also comes in a Body Lotion ($45), Shower Gel ($40) and Body Crème ($70). For more details, check out ralphlauren.com.

I personally LOVED it when I smelled it. Definitely very feminine and seductive and makes you feel like you`re in the ad being all scinitillating.
Definitely one of those fragrances that can help reverse a bad mood.
