I've been on this self-tanner kick lately, trying to figure out which ones are worth standing in my apartment naked for and which ones just turn me funky colors. One of the ones I tried was Sublime Glow by L'Oreal. I bought the version for my face because it seemed easier to start there. It's one of those new moisturizers that gradually self tans, so it's not a bronzer, which is a nice change after some of colors I accidentally turned my face these past few weeks. To be honest, I wasn't really expecting anything - I figured it'd either take forever to dry or no color would happen or (worst case scenario) it'd make me break out. Because if I have a choice between being pasty white with good skin or being tan with a big red pimple on my chin, I think the choice is obvious. But after using it for ten days, I have to say, I'm pleasantly surprised. If there's a downfall to this product, I haven't found it yet. It goes on easily, dries quickly, doesn't have a strong odor and, best of all, has given me a nice, even golden glow. And my face hasn't broken out at all! It even comes with an SPF 15 built in, so you can just smooth it on in the morning, give it five minutes to dry, then go about your regular morning routine. It's like the lazy version of self-tanner! And without the possibility of accidentally giving yourself an orange nose! Genius. I bought the version for medium skin tones even though I'm fair, just because it seemed like I would get better color that way, so you might want to try that too. And for only $10, the tube seems like it's going to last a long time, so that's even more reason to see if you can get the same glow. The only way it could get any easier would be if someone invented a self-tanning pill that would turn you bronze automatically. Hey, wait a second...
