Oh, Lush, why must you tempt me so? Why must you make such great products that I am powerless to resist them, even when my credit card is screaming at me to just put it back in my wallet and walk away? One of those products is I Love Juicy shampoo. Even though this has been a favorite of mine for years, I'm reviewing it today in honor of the fact that I just found a medium-sized bottle of it in my closet that I had no idea was there, which proves two things - one, I really need to clean out my closets more often, and two, finding a product that you love (and have already paid for) when you're unemployed gives you the same feeling that Christmas morning used to when you were a kid. I'm almost thinking of hiding other products on purpose in my apartment just so when I stumble upon them later, I'll get that feeling all over again. Is that weird? Probably. Okay then, moving on... There are many reasons why I love this shampoo, but I think number one is the smell. It's the perfect morning shampoo because it smells all fruity, kind of like a mixture of oranges and lemons, and it totally wakes you up in the shower. And the smell really does linger all day, so you get to enjoy it for hours. Then there's the fact that it cleans and de-greases hair extremely well. I always feel like my hair is sparkling clean when I use it and that doesn't happen with most shampoos. I think the fact that it gets it so clean is what makes my hair seem thicker and shinier when I'm using it, which sadly doesn't happen every single day because, and here's my one complaint about it, it's kind of expensive. I know you have to pay for quality and fresh ingredients and all that, but if it was just like, ten dollars cheaper a bottle, I could buy it all the time and then Lush would get twice my business, so really, they would still come out ahead. Oh, and as long as I'm asking for things from Lush, could I also get a lifetime supply of Honey, I Washed The Kids soap? And maybe a job in their product naming department, because that sounds like a really fun job and I would seriously kick ass at it. Awesome, thanks.
