I'm sort of a dental overachiever. At the ripe old age of 31, I've never had a cavity. And I'm sadly proud of that fact. (I say sadly because really, when your teeth are one of your greatest accomplishments, something's gone very, very wrong). So of course, I use mouthwash and floss every day to maintain my streak. One of the coolest tooth products I've seen is the Hummingbird from Oral-B. Despite the fact that it sounds like some sort of Japanese sex toy, it's actually a battery powered wand that you floss with. It's pretty damn great - I used to sort of half-heartedly floss just to keep the streak alive, but now I actually like doing it. It's easier than using plain floss, it seems to work better, and the cartridges are disposable, so you just toss one after every use. (Probably not so good for the environment, but I guess every product has a dark side). Plus, it's easily portable, so you can throw it in your purse in case the cute guy you just started dating decides to take you out for Mexican food. All in all, the perfect product to keep my teeth flossed and my cavity count at zero. The streak continues!
