I am Lovin' Weleda!

I was already a fan of Weleda Skin Food before my son made his grand debut into the world so as soon as the little guy arrived (he's now three months), I quickly researched to see if the all-natural line Weleda had anything for my main man's delicate skin.  I am thrilled to report, they have an entire baby line of wonderful products!  The Baby Starter Kit is a great way to test the complete line for only $13.00 (and without all the commitment of the large sizes).  It contains the Calendula Baby Cream, Calendula Lotion, Calendula Shampoo and Body Wash, Calendula Oil, and Calendula Diaper Care which are all wonderful.  My absolute faves are the Shampoo and Body Wash and the Baby Cream.  The Shampoo is lightly fragranced which I adore because after his bath I can smell the wash ever so slightly on his sweet neck when I cuddle him.  The Baby Cream is a go-to cream for everything!  Chapped skin under baby's nose - use the Baby Cream.  Diaper Rash - reach for the Baby Cream.  Dry little feet - Baby Cream.  Mom's sensitive skin - Baby Cream!  You gotta love all-natural products that you can use on yourself and your baby (an especially great way to save money in this economy).  I could go on and on but really you need to try these products for yourself.  Trust me, your little one will love it (well, okay, they don't know the difference but us Moms do!)  Heck, even if you don't have kids - you'll love this wonderful line for sensitive skin.

Food Feeds The Soul... And The Skin

The winter (even the California "winter") is brutal on my skin.  My face suffers, my lips are chapped and my hands and elbows are screaming out in pain.  This is where Skin Food by Weleda comes in.  This brilliant moisturizing lotion is perfect for ultra dry skin in need of some intense hydration.  The fresh scent is lovely and even though this stuff is thick, it's surprisingly not greasy (it will take a bit to sink in, though).  I was especially impressed with how amazing it was on my chapped lips and nose, and how soft it makes my very nasty, callused feet.  I noticed you can get Weleda at Target (hooray for convenience) but the downfall is you'll be tempted to check out more of their fantastic products (I am a huge fan of their massage oils - I'll save that for a later post) and their Wild Rose Intensive Eye Cream is a wonderfully hydrating cream.  I may put a ton of artificial junk into my body, but I love that Weleda uses all the good, natural stuff.  So basically, my skin will look great while my insides rot from asparatame.
