I have to say it's extremely rare that I love EVERYTHING one company puts out. Usually when I get samples of someone's "best of" there are usually one or two items that I like so I was pleasantly surprised when I checked out a few products from The Honest Company and loved every single one of them. I became so quickly obsessed, in fact, that I immediately converted friends to the brand. First of all, I had no idea until I was reading about the company on their site that The Honest Company was founded by Jessica Alba (love her and I must be living under a rock that I didn't know she had this company), along side Christopher Gavigan who is former CEO of Healthy Child Healthy World non-profit. They joined forces to create products that are safe - free of health compromising chemicals and compounds - (the list of stuff they don't use is super-lengthy, actually) but that work fantastic and smell lovely. They are especially concerned with products which are safe for the whole family (it's super hard to find kids products that are free of icky chemicals, smell nice and don't cost a fortune). I checked out the Pampering Kit and can't recommend it enough! The Bubble Bath is amazing (smells soooooo yummy and is so gentle even children and adults with sensitive skin can enjoy it). It makes a ton of bubbles and feels so luxurious you'd think it cost a ton of money (when it only costs $11.95). I also fell for the Face & Body Lotion which is fragrance free and super moisturizing. I love how gentle it is that I can use it on my child, my body and my face! Plus, my skin is seriously thanking me each time slather it on. The Conditioning Mist is the best I've ever tried. I haven't found a conditioning mist I've really loved since the old Herbal Essences formula from ten years ago... until now. It really works (even on my thick hair) and smells sweetly of orange vanilla. The Lip Balm trio is spectacular. I thought I would give away two of the lipbalms to deserving friends but I have hoarded them all for myself because they are so great. Lavender Mint is my fave of the three, but it really was tough to decide. Last, but not least, in the Pampering Kit is the Body Oil. Oh man, this stuff is ridiculous in the best way possible. It's the most non-greasy oil I've used, and it's super hydrating (I use it in the morning and my skin stays hydrated all day long). It smells coconut-y, but not overpowering at all, and I don't know how I've lived without it. I use it on my cuticles (a-mazing) and a bit on my hair to tame the frizzies. I really can't stress enough how incredible all the products by The Honest Company are and how huge a fan I am (and will be for life). In addition to bath and body items, they have a full line of household cleaners, diapers&wipes and laundry products! Whether or not you have kids, The Honest Company is definitely worth a check-out. I'm not sure my kid will have a chance to use most of this stuff as I keep using it all on myself!
