I've been wanting to try some of Illamasqua's products ever since I first saw them at Sephora and I finally got my hands on one of their Powder Blushers. I can totally see why they're so popular. Blush is one of those products I don't often focus on and in fact, sometimes forget to wear, but when I do get a good one and see the difference it makes, I always get motivated to wear it again for awhile until I get lazy again. (It's a vicious makeup cycle). There are a huge variety of shades to choose from - 15 total - and I tested out Panic, which is described as a cherry red. It's highly pigmented, so it took me a few times to get the hang of applying it with a light touch (my first try made me look slightly, shall we say, Ronald McDonald-ish). But once I mastered the application, I was really impressed. The color payoff was great and it lasted for a long time (I could still see the color on my cheeks at 4pm, which rarely happens to me with blushes). I really want to try some of the more natural daytime shades now, since Panic is something I would normally wear more at night. And just like that, I'm excited about blush again...
