Wow. It has been a REALLY long time since I've fallen as in love with a perfume as I am with Replica's Beach Walk. I'd never even heard of the brand before walking into the Sephora in Santa Monica this past weekend and now I can think of nothing else but going back to buy the bottle. The only reason I didn't snatch it up right away is because it's $125 and, you know, that's kinda pricey, especially when I have like, a bajillion other perfumes already, so I snagged two sample vials to make sure I would like it just as much the next day and I do. I totally, totally do! It has notes of Bergamot, Pink Pepper, Lemon, Ylang Ylang, Coconut Milk, Heliotrope, Musk, Cedar Wood and Benzoin and somehow that all combines to smell exactly like a sunset walk on a gorgeous beach with the sea air blowing through your hair. And I don't even like the beach! I run from the beach! But I couldn't love this scent more. It's just... perfect. I must have it. I might have to sell a kidney to get it (or, you know, just stop eating for like, two weeks) but it will be mine. It reminds me of Bobbi Brown's Beach, but for some reason, I like it even more. And how cool is the bottle? I am going to totally display it on my dresser when I finally have it in my possession. Can't. Wait.
