Tough Love For Feet

Pbbw12582443v194 I kind of hate feet.  I know my feelings aren't particularly justified, but there's something really nasty about them.  Don't get me wrong, I love my feet because they give me something to put cute shoes on, but for the most they're just kind of gross.  Mine are especially disgusting in the start of summer with those nasty calluses.  I gag just thinking about it.  Well, I bought Tough Love from the True Blue Spa Collection at Bath and Body Works and I am incredibly happy with the product.  It contains alpha-hydroxy which softens even the most nasty, hard callus, but it comes in a tube so I am not having to re-dip my fingers into the nasty foot lotion.  (You touch your dirty foot, dip your hand in the jar and then back onto the dirty foot - gross)  The tube allows you to not waste lotion which I'm all about.  Tough Love smells minty and really does the job.  I used it for a week solid and am happy to report a decrease in the toughness of my soles.  I still hate feet, though.  No lotion can change that for me.

Cute Shoes Deserve Cute Feet

200_13Cute shoes are the greatest.  So what if they’re fairly uncomfortable and leave my feet bloody and/or callused?  And so what if the ball of my foot is destroyed and my nails are so squished they’re in danger of cracking right off?  Okay, so maybe I’m exaggerating a little bit, but my feet are in desperate need of some TLC, especially since it’s almost flip-flop time again.  I tried Dr. Scholl’s For Her Foot Softening Balm and it is seriously the best!  This stuff softened my nasty feet in less than a week and smells like lavender.  Even if you don’t like lavender, there is something to be said for feet that smell like flowers.  It has shea butter in it to really make your feet soft and glycerin which helps seal in moisture.  It also has alpha hydroxy to help slough off dead skin.  It’s definitely thick and greasy, but I really think that’s how a good foot cream needs to be.  It’s perfect for slathering on at night so you can slip your feet in a pair of cotton socks for sleeping.  You will be thrilled with the results the next morning.  And it’s inexpensive which really makes it a fantastically solid product.  Bring on those 3 inch Fornarina heels, baby!
