I cannot overestimate how much I love a good sparkly shadow. I'm probably not supposed to love them as much as I do anymore, but much like glitter polish on my toes, it just makes me happy. (And probably will forever). But once you're not a twenty-something anymore, it probably is better to do a more classy, refined sparkly eye instead of a glitter bomb. Urban Decay's Moondust Eyeshadows are perfect for this. They're definitely chock full o' sparkle, but it's not the chunky kind, so it looks much less Studio 54 than you would think. And the shades are gorgeous. My favorite is Scorpio (the one above). It's a black matte with gold 3-D sparkle and it's perfect for a funky smoky eye for a night out. I also love Solstice - a metallic pink-red with green 3-D sparkle and shift. It's so unique and pretty and just... interesting. But really, you can't go wrong with any of these. The other amazing thing about these is the lack of fallout. For a glitter shadow, they really stay put where you apply them, especially if you use a primer first. I'm totally in love with these - it feels like one of those "I must have every single shade!" situations. What else is new when it's Urban Decay?
