I'm super into neutral (or neutral-ish) polishes right now. I guess because it's so hot here in L.A., it feels slightly weird to wear dark shades, but I'm just not ready to go back to brights yet. So when I saw someone post a photo of Essie's new Comfy in Cashmere online, I instantly fell in love and knew I'd be making a trip to ULTA that night. (Which turned out to be a good call because I got the very last bottle. It's like the nail polish gods were looking out for me!) It's so, so pretty on. It's described as a mauve with deep velvet undertones, which is pretty spot on, but it makes a great neutral. It dries to a matte finish, but I'm not really a fan of matte, so I just put a glossy top coat over it and changed the finish and I like it even more now. All in all, just a really great shade that isn't your typical neutral, but still looks amazing. If you see one, snatch it up because I have a feeling this is one color that's going to be sold out (if it isn't already). You won't regret it!
