Summer Spheres

I've been obsessed with eos' lip balms for awhile now.  (As evidenced by the fact that I have one in every bag I carry, one in my car, about 5 in my closet, a couple in my bathroom...)  They're just the perfect lip balm.  (My only, tiny quibble is that I wish there was some way to carry them in your pocket, but then they wouldn't be able to be housed in the cute sphere packaging and they'd be just like every other lip balm, so I totally understand why you can't).  For a limited time, eos is introducing two new flavors for Summer 2011 - Strawberry Sorbet and Passion Fruit.  They come in adorable, pastel colored spheres and they both smell fruity and delicious.  Like all the other flavors, they're made with jojoba oil, shea butter, and vitamin E, so they're extra moisturizing, and the two pack will only cost you $5.99 (even cheaper with a coupon) so it's totally worth it.  If only to have more spare spheres to keep in your desk at work, your boyfriend's car, your luggage...  See?  Obsessed.

You can order the Twin Pack here on Target's website, but if you'd rather buy it in store, you can usually find eos at Walmart, Walgreens, CVS, and other drugstores.  (I have good luck finding it at my local ULTA too).  Time to stock up!  

Evolution of Smooth

I am SO happy to have this adorable little bugger in my purse!  First of all, it's such a cute, funny little oval shape which makes me smile when I hold it.  Second, it has a flip top so no messy spilling which means no more lotion-soaked pens, wallet and cosmetic bag.  Third, it smells amazingly of cucumber and is a fantastic hand moisturizer.  Fourth, this lotion is free of all the nasty stuff like dyes, phthalates and paraben.  And fifth, and probably most important, this is one cheap little guy (in a good way) - it retails for only $3.99. How can everyone not own this sweet little hand cream.  

The Lip Balm Of Tomorrow Is Here Today!

When I first saw the EOS (Evolution of Smooth) Smooth Sphere Lip Balm at CVS, I thought it looked like the most awkward lipgloss ever.  Of course I couldn't not buy it.  I have to say, I was so wrong in my perception of this stuff.  This little ball of fun is the perfect shape to apply to lips, is super moisturizing and comes in four scents (lemon drop, honeysuckle honeydew, summer fruit and sweet mint).  I have the honeysuckle honeydew and it's slightly sweet and comes in an adorable light green sphere.  They are phthalate-free, paraben-free and contain shea butter and vitamin E.  Each little ball retails for around $3.00 so really, it's criminal if you don't pick one up.
