There is nothing better than giving (and receiving, of course) an awesome new perfume for the holidays. Especially if it's a fragrance you are pretty sure the person you're giving it to will be surprised and super excited to be able to add to their dresser top! CoSTUME NATIONAL has released PoP, a beautiful fragrance that is so sophisticated you're going to feel like you always should be shopping at Barney's (which, conveniently, is one of the retailers who carries this fragrance). The top notes are pink grapefruit, raspberry, blackcurrant, rose, jasmin, patchouli, ambre gris, cashmere musk which all combine to make this very alluring scent which lasts the better part of the day. I was shocked that the perfume smells very spicy of Patchouli, but not overwhelming at all. I actually love the way it smells on my skin when it's settled in for a bit. In addition to all the awesomeness of PoP, the especially brilliant thing is that all four color bottles contain the same fragrance but you don't know which bottle you have until you open the box. Kind of fun, like collecting those foil-packed toys from when you were a kid! An elegantly sophisticated perfume, which is a fantastic gift for sure. Available at Barney's or luckyscent.com.
