I am totally digging this new limited edition collection by Smashbox and Santigold. It looks stunning - can't wait to actually get my hands on it all in person in April!
For this exclusive collection, Santigold plays with the notion of approaching the post-2012 Golden Age - an age where the earth as we know it ceases to exist, revitalizing itself and morphing into its own beautifully balanced, utopic mirror image. This is a world where the earth, stars, humans, aliens and all co-exist harmoniously.
She’s partnered with Smashbox to create this vivid and playful color range, influenced by her strong creative sense. Already known for her mix-and-match sensibility, Santi is encouraging her collage style with this collection. From the themed, shade names to the one-of-a-kind ring design, she’s blended her style, hand-crafted artwork, fashion sense and love of color to create this exciting summer line.
ABOUT SANTIGOLD: Santigold is a genre-defying musician, style renegade, and visionary artist across multiple platforms celebrated for her fearless ability to fuse unexpected elements into bold new work. An artist whose perseverance relies on invention, her singular aesthetic has made her a major muse watched by the inspired world. Her sophomore album, Master of My Make Believe became her first #1 album, topping the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart. She's won an ASCAP Pop Music award (Vanguard Award), and has been nominated for a Q Award, MTV Europe Music Award, and BRIT Award.
Eye Shadow Collage: Featuring Santigold’s distinctive collage art, these palettes includes 5 shades of our luxe wet/dry shadows to mix and match any eye look. ($36)

Just in time for Valentine's Day comes the new True Romantic collection by bareMinerals! I was stunned to like this collection as much as I do (usually pink shades aren't great on my skin, but this one is SO different). Collection features READY eyeshadow quad in The True Romantic, Marvelous Moxie lipstick in Feel the Love, Swoon blush, Marvelous Moxie lipgloss in Heartbreaker, Lasting Line eyeliner in Always Charcoal and Marvelous Moxie lipliner in Liberated. The shadow quad is ridiculously awesome. I have been religiously pairing it with the Charcoal liner and the rose-ish smokey eye is an absolute stunner (I've gotten more compliments than I can count). Yes, the shades are delightfully feminine (pink-y/rose, a copper-y and warm chocolate shades perfectly compliment each other) and they blend amazingly well. I was very surprised at how pretty the colors are on and how lovely a smokey eye this quad creates. The other stand-out in the new collection is Feel the Love lipstick which is a super-saturated rose color which looks so beautiful on! The formula is fantastically moisturizing and feels so great on lips (not drying at all) so no need to wear lipbalm with it. I also was impressed with the Swoon blush - a petal pink blush which doesn't wash out my very pale skin! Lovely! All around great collection and one of my favorite Spring launches for 2014. Check it out!

The best part about the holidays (you know, besides the presents...) is always all the fantastic gift sets and palettes that come out around this time. And as per usual, I want them all. ALL OF THEM! How fabulous is this Artist Signature Set from Stila? It has so much fun stuff in it! Here's what you'll take home for the (kinda steep, but it's a $605 value) $185 price tag:
15 Lip Glazes
12 Eye Shadows
4 Cheek Colors
3 Smudge Crayons
8 Smudge Sticks
3 Pro-Artistry Brushes
If you're looking to bulk up your stash, this could definitely be the way to go to get yourself a lot of fun new stuff at not too expensive of a price. And if you do take it home, please enjoy it for me too!
How badly do I want this new, limited-edition collection The Rich is Back! from Benefit? So, so badly. It's designed by Matthew Williamson and I just love everything about it - from the design on the package to the colors inside. It's just all working for me. I love the eyeshadow shades (how pretty is that teal?) and the whole set contains everything you'd need (except for maybe foundation) to create a complete look for a night out. I must get my hands on this as soon as possible!
Stila's new Summer 2013 collection is so pretty and shockingly wearable! When I first saw it I thought it was so bright that I wouldn't be able to wear it without looking like a freak, but I was so wrong. The color Pigments are my absolute fave of the collection. Each Countless Color Pigment compact features multiple shadows all swirled together like a beautiful watercolor painting (actually, they look a lot like stuff my kid has made me for me). The shades are vibrant, work perfectly together and have the staying power of Stila eye shadows. I love, love Light Show (turquoise, bright green, bright yellow) and Melody (awesome shades of bright plums), but since there are 10 compacts to choose from it's kind of hard to be able to just pick a few, honestly. The rest of the new collection features After Glow Lipcolor (super bright pencil lipcolor that's not drying!); Smudge Stick in Turquoise (sooooo pretty and my favorite go-to eyeliner formula); Liquid Eyeliner also in turquoise and Color Balm Lipsticks (freakin' amazing, my new obsession). Stila's Color Balm Lipsticks are super hydrating, have such beautiful shades and are peppermint-y. I am crazy for all the shades, honestly, and own a few. I think if you made me pick the one I'm using most right now, I'd pick Gemma - a purple-y pink that's vibrant and so pretty for Spring. Oh, Stila, I love you so very much!!

BareMinerals' new Remix Collection for Spring 13 is out and it's so so pretty you're going to want it all! At first glance when I saw the colors in the Ready Eyeshadow 4.0 Quad - the Wild Thing - palette I thought there would be no way I could pull of this very spring-y, fresh look (the greens terrified me). But man, from the first swipe of color, I realized I was so wrong! The shades are beautiful, blend effortlessly and really brighten my whole face. After coming to terms with the fact I could pull off the greens, I thought adding the Flawless Definition Aqua mascara would definitely transport me back to the 80's (honestly, a little excited as I did love my colored mascara) but it's so shockingly modern there's no way anyone would mistake it for being from the era of Ah-ha and Duran Duran. The beautiful deep aqua shade which really brightens the eyes and defines the lashes (without clumping, I have to add). The new blush - The Natural High - is the perfect pinky/coral and actually is buildable (I found that I needed two swipes to get the nice color I wanted). It's very a very subtle glow of color which accentuates cheekbones without over-doing it (no worry that you'll have to try and smudge some off in the car when you actually see yourself in natural light on your drive into work). The one part of the collection I haven't yet tried and am absolutely dying to get my hands on are the new Loud & Clear Lip Sheers. They look amazing - especially interested in the Tangerine Trance (curious to see if the orange would translate well on my lips - looks like it could be a really pretty spring coral). I'm embracing the new Spring colors, even though I'm not sure I'm ready to get back into tshirts just yet...

Tarte's Baby It's Bold Outside Holiday 2012 collection is nothing short of amazing! I have to say that every fall I anxiously await Tarte's Holiday release because I always, always love everything. They have a knack for putting together palettes and box sets that are affordable, stunning and contain colors and products that will actually get used! My absolute stand-out faves for this season, which I got all gushy over with excitement over when I saw them, are the Big Thrill Color Collection and For the Love of Lipgloss! First of all both are Ulta exclusives, so you'll need to go online or head to your local Ulta to snag them. The Big Thrill set includes 16 of Tarte's signature square eye shadows infused with
Amazonian clay in an array of fresh colors and 3 of Tarte's award
winning and best selling Amazonian clay 12-hour blushes in 3 brand NEW
shades fit for the season. This collector's palette also features 3
vitamin lip glosses neatly tucked away inside the mini drawer. I am super impressed with everything in the box as well as the box itself (packaging is super adorable!) Price is $48.00 and would make an amazing gift. It even comes with a step-by-step illustrated guide to help you find your new look (keeping in mind there are thousands of combos considering how much you get in the box). For the Love of Lipgloss is a stunning collection of 15 glosses perfect for yourself or to gift to others! There are three individual boxes of 5 glosses (which come with handy to/from labels on the back) so you could separate out the set or give as one large one. Colors are beautiful (each one is named after a member of the Tarte family - adorable!) and each one is super-wearable. The set retails for $32.00 and is worth every penny.

Laura Mercier is releasing her Custom Artist Portfolio in March and it's a definite check-out (especially considering it's in that dreaded category of limited edition!) Her new Custom Artist Portfolio allows you to be in the driver's seat and control exactly what you want in your palette - genius! You choose either the 3 or 6 well custom compact and then can add in any of her new amazing Sheer Creme Colours, new Lip Glazes or new Second Skin Cheek Colours! Her Sheer Creme Colours are ultra-sheer and highly-blendable formulas which give a heathly glow to the skin. I love how sheer these really are and how they awaken the skin. Sheer Creme Colours come in Bronze Veil, Pearl Glow Veil and Pink Cheek Veil. Her new Lip Glazes are super-moisturizing and are sheer but with killer shine. I love this product and am bummed it's limited edition. The colors are stunning, too -Soft Pink, Plum, and Lotus Blossom. Plum has become my stunning go-to for day and evening. Last part of her new collection is 5 new shades to her Second Skin Cheek Colour - an extremely fine powder blush with beautiful coverage. The Second Skin Cheek Colour us a usual staple at the Laura Mercier counter but the new shades are definitely worth the trip to the mall. New shades are Sweet Mandarin, Honey Mocha, Heather Pink, Soft Iris and Peach Whisper (my favorite of the bunch - a beautiful peach, perfect for the pastel craze of Spring '12.) She also is adding three limited edition shades to her Eye Colours - Merlot Sateen (the answer for the updated smokey eye - no need for black if you have this guy!), Golden Creme Luster and Seashell Pink Sateen. Something I especially love about Laura Mercier - and she stays very true to this in her latest collection - she has the most beautiful coverage and stunning ability to make my "naked" face look flawless every time... and that's no small feat.
