Facial in a Jar

My skin doesn't like anything harsh on it.  I can't do lip plumpers, and if I use any exfoliator that's too 25oz_kerafole chemically based, my face screams out in pain.  So when I discovered Bioelements Kerafole Deep Exfoliating Mask, I was delighted!  Finally an exfoliating mask that doesn't make me want to cry and hit people (hmm, anger management problems?)  This mask, while it initially does tingle a lot, leaves skin feeling smoother, looking brighter and really helps to control my blackhead problem.  The creamy texture takes a little getting used to at first because you can't really see where you've put it.  The huge advantage:  the UPS guy doesn't have to witness me in a face mask, which I know he must appreciate.  It contains no synthetic fragrances, artificial colorants or animal by-products, and is glycolic acid-free.  Not only does it make my skin glow, but the mask smells fresh (like sea water) and at $45.00 is a bargain, in my opinion.  What a great product to help your skin stay healthy in between facials and you won't use a lot so the jar will last a long time.  You gotta love anything that will last a long time - except for airport security lines or work days or DMV appointments... Okay, I'm stopping now.

Crucial Moisture

040824_2_5oz_crucial_moisture Ever since I tried the Body Moisturizer by Bioelements, I have become a huge fan of their skincare line.  My most recent obsession is the perfectly named Crucial Moisture which really makes my skin feel fantastic.  Made with all sorts of incredible things like Watercress, Sage and Rosemary, this thick, yet non-greasy, facial treat is not tested on animals and contains no synthetic fragrance or artificial colorants.  So basically, I may eat tons of artificial junk, but my skin is well taken care of!  I love how this cream smells (must be all the aromatherapist oils it contains) and really can't go on enough about how smooth, well-hydrated and glowing my skin looks.  Perfect for anyone with dry or combination skin.  At under $30.00, Crucial Moisture is an extremely well-priced cream.  The one drawback is the container is glass, which looks fabulous on my bathroom countertop, but really makes traveling with it tough.  But hey, if that's the only drawback, I consider it a winner all around!

I Have Achieved Vitalization

12793 When I first put my hands on the giant tub of Bioelements Rich Intensity Body Creme, I knew I had to try it.  I am a huge fan of their skin care line, so why would I not have the same love affair with their body care line?  Well, I am happy to report I am still actively dating Bioelements (although we're not exclusive so all you other brands don't need to start crying).  The Rich Intensity Body Creme while expensive (retails for $49.50) is deliciously scented with botanical oils and is fantastically moisturizing.  I am so impressed with how quickly such a rich creme sinks into my skin.  Let's put it this way, I can drown my hands in the stuff and can type on the blog in a matter of minutes.  Amazing.  The scent reminds me of a day at an exclusive spa (you know, the burning oils, clean linens) but quickly dies down, leaving a slightly spicy fragrance that encourages me to continually smell myself.  The creme contains powerful moisturizers (sunflower seed oil, shea butter, olive oil) and other amazing things like red tea (fights sagging skin) and beta carotene (antixoidant).  Also, even though the price tag is hefty, the tub is huge so it will last a decent amount of time.  Of course, I say that, but at the rate I'm slathering on the stuff I'm not sure how long it'll last me.  Well, I'm a moisture-a-holic.  Maybe I should seek help.
