Another Love Affair With Artistry

I have become more addicted to Artistry with each product I've tried, which is especially wonderful 105533_b because I feel as though I am taking a leap of faith by ordering something sight unseen.  The latest and greatest product to add to my regular rotation is the Mineral Foundation.  This foundation goes on smooth, covers slight imperfections and gives a lovely, natural glow.  I am amazed at how light and non-cakey it goes on.  Even the blackheads on my nose (thank you, genetics) are concealed with this stuff.  Another huge bonus, because it's preservative and fragrance free, every skin type can use it without irritation.  Gotta love that everyone can share in my new love affair.  Wait, that came out wrong.

Mineral Foundation retails for $19.50 and comes in Light, Medium and Dark.

Moisture Plus

104133_b  I have become a huge fan of the Artistry line.  I am full-on addicted and I'm not prepared to go to rehab.  The latest product that I cannot live without is their Moisture Plus Hydra-Plus which is a moisturizing oil that works wonders on dry skin.  You use the eyedropper top to squeeze a few drops in your hand and then pat onto your face for the ultimate hydration.  The oil contains omegas and botanicals to seal in moisture and smells so lovely it could be bottled as a perfume.  I have incredibly dry, sensitive skin and this wonder serum has made all the icky patches around my nose and on my chin disappear.  Completely incredible.  I actually carry it with me to work and use a little as the day goes on if my face starts to feel as if it's drying out (I have air conditioning to thank for that).  I also have been using it on my cuticles (I know, I know, not the intended use) but it's awesome!  I am just stunned at how much I've loved everything I've used from Artistry.  How rare for a line to have it right every single time.  It's kind of like me when I'm arguing with my husband - I am right every single time.

For The Artist In You

104670_b_2 I love eyecolor palettes.  I think it goes back to my days of staring at a box of crayons thinking it was so cool that I had so many colors to choose from.  Okay, I sound a little insane admitting my love for a box of crayons, but whatever, I'm secure with my addiction to color.  Now that I'm an "adult" (I use that term loosely) I still have the same fascination with muliple colors side by side under one case.  That's why I am obsessed right now with 104669_b Artistry's Rare Beauty Eye Compacts.  These little compacts each offer four different vibrant colors that are totally wearable and 104673_b actually last all day.  I am amazed at how beautiful the colors blend on my lids and how minimal the creasing is.  One compact (Discreet) has gorgeous bronzes and deep pinks which actually remind me of a summer sunset as I stare at them (there I go with the staring again).  The other (Indulge) has four shades of violet with a lovely golden shimmer to the darkest shade that makes the most alluring smokey eye ever.  Both compacts are only $29.50 (cheaper than Laura Mercier's Evolution of Color Palettes) and they actually blend better (sorry, Laura!)  While I'm on the subject of how much I am going crazy for Artistry, they also have out a lip gloss, Artistry's Rare Beauty Lip Shine in Gifted, which is a stunning nude/pink perfect for any skin tone.  It has a gorgeous shimmer to it and contains aloe, so it's incredibly moisturizing and soothing to even chapped lips.  Now if someone could make a Crayola box of lip glosses, I would be in heaven.  Hmmm, note to self, brilliant packaging idea...
