So we all know of my huge love for London (which has recently been kicked up a notch due to my viewing of the new show "Selling London" this week on HGTV. I want to live in the place they showed that costs the equivalent of $50 million so I could swim in my indoor lap pool before I headed out to Harrod's to pick up some ham and cheddar scones. How is that not my life, people?!) So of course, when I was at ULTA yesterday and saw Stila's five new travel palettes, I had to grab the Lovely in London one before it sold out. (There were only three out of the five left, but luckily it was one of them). The travel palettes are more expensive than they were last year at $16, and they also flip open now instead of opening like a book, but they're still every bit as delightful as they have been in prior years. Each comes with five Eye Shadows and a Convertible Color Dual Lip and Cheek Cream, and the shades are inside each are named after the city on the front. The shades in Lovely in London are called Tower Bridge, Duchess, Castle, Notting Hill and High Street and the Convertible Color is called Primrose. Very British names, right? It's a pretty basic neutral collection with shimmer in one of the shadows, so it's a palette almost anyone can use. Plus, how cute is the cover? If I'm being honest, even if the shades inside were hideous, I'd probably have bought it anyway just for the cover, but luckily that's not the case. (I know. I have a makeup buying problem). Although looking at it sitting next to me is really, really making me want to book a ticket to London, even more than I usually do, so maybe this purchase wasn't such a good idea. Don't forget me, London! I'll see you as soon as I can!
