Oh, I am so loving MAKE UP FOR EVER's new Rock for Ever holiday products. Love, love, love! The Rock For Ever Eye Shadow Palette is a collection of four different shadows:
- Diamond Shadow in Diamond Black 307 (charcoal black with shimmer)
- Diamond Shadow in Diamond Beige 306 (peachy tan with gold shimmer)
- Eye Shadow in Silver 82 (silver shimmer)
- Eye Shadow in White Shimmer 7 (white pearl shimmer)
The Diamond Black shade is my favorite - it's SUCH a gorgeous shimmering black, which is my current favorite shade for creating a smoky eye (and the silver shimmer is a great highlight shade for it). Diamond Beige is also a shade I know I'll get a lot of use out of because it's neutral enough to wear most places, but sparkly enough to be fun and playful. Plus, you guys, the case that the shadows come in is super cool - just pulling it out of my eyeshadow drawer makes me fell all badass (it has studs!) and I couldn't be less badass if I tried. (I'm pretty sure badasses have addictions like drugs and leather pants instead of my current ones of brown butter sea salt cookies and my super comfy Gap pajamas).
The Rock For Ever Aqua Eyes set is also a very worthy addition to your makeup collection. Aqua Eyes liners are awesome - they're probably second only to Urban Decay's in my liner repertoire - and these five shades range from more neutral colors to dark ones that you can pair with the above shadows. Here are the shades in the set:
- Aqua Eyes in Gold 9L (metallic yellow)
- Aqua Eyes in Bronze 10L (metallic bronze)
- Aqua Eyes in Dark Grey 21L (dark metallic grey)
- Aqua Eyes in Mat Black 0L (black)
- Aqua Eyes in Silver 8L (metallic silver)
Again, the packaging is awesome. I kind of want all my MAKE UP FOR EVER purchases to come in packaging like this now. The liners are about half the size of the full-sized ones, but their smaller size makes it easy to pack them for trips (perfect for justifying why they all need to come to the east coast with me for the holidays). Rock on!
