Champagne Wishes and Peppermint Dreams
You guys, Fashion Week kicked my ass. I was technically only in NYC for 5 days, but I think my feet aged a decade or so. That's what running around in 4 inch heels for most of the day will do to you. (Yes, I know it was stupid, but I don't own any flat boots and all my clothes are hemmed for heels and, well, when you're standing next to models, a few extra inches to balance out your hips a little more is kinda necessary). There was a point during one of the shows where I would've traded my car for a pair of sneakers, that's how bad it was. So of course, as soon as I got back to Los Angeles, I rummaged through my Closet O' Products to find something to make it up to them. Lucky for me, I had the KLEAN Bath and Body Peppermint Patti Pedi kit. I coated my feet in their fantastic smelling Peppermint Dream Whipped Shea Butter and then slipped on the Overnight Softening Socks before passing out in a jet lag induced haze. I woke up this morning to softer, infinitely less painful feet. Genius! And then tonight, I tested out the rest of the products in the kit and was just as impressed. I used The Devil Made Me Do It Sugar Body Polish to exfoliate my feet (along with the included pumice stone) and loved it. I'm now craving a super-sized tub of it to keep in the shower for the rest of my body because it smells like chocolate and leaves behind smoother skin - two of my most important scrub requirements. And then I washed it all off with the Peppermint Dream Bath Syrup - another winner. The kit even comes with toe separators, but I have to admit, those will probably never come out of the container because I leave the actual polishing part of a pedicure to the professionals - when I attempt it, my toes end up looking like a five year-old tried to color them in. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to use my Overnight Softening Socks again. I may be back in L.A, but the Fashion Week scars remain...
