I pretty much hate mock anything. Mock trials, mock fantasy football drafts, and most of all, mock turtlenecks (an unfortunate fashion choice all around). But even though I hate the name, I really like LORAC's new Mocktail lip glosses. LORAC is one of my favorite brands because it was created by a makeup artist, who also named it after herself (LORAC is Carol spelled backwards. I would totally do that when I create my own makeup line one day, but unfortunately it would result in my products being called YECATS. Doesn't exactly scream "Buy me," does it?) Mocktails is her new lip gloss line for spring, and it's made up of ten different shades, all of which taste like a different cocktail. My favorites are Caffeini Martini and Lava Flow, both of which look great on and taste delicious too. And the packaging is cute too - you just squeeze it together and apply with the brush on the end, so you don't get messy fingers. The Sephora description makes a point of saying the glosses contain no alcohol, which is too bad if you ask me. Because really, how cool would it be if someone came out with lip glosses that actually did have alcohol in them? Then you wouldn't even have to go to happy hour to get drunk, you could just sit on your couch reapplying your lip color to catch a buzz. You know, I think I'm really onto something here. I can call it Tipsy Lipsy and sell it at liquor stores. Genius idea! Remember, you heard it here first, people.
