Big is my all time favorite Lush shampoo (and they make I Love Juicy, so that's saying a lot). I bought it on a whim because I was curious about how well a shampoo in crystal (not liquid) form would perform, and if this if any indication, count me in as a fan.
It comes in a container with a lid, so when you're in the shower, you just scoop out a little bit and rub it on your head. It's a weird sensation because it takes a minute for the crystals to dissolve, so at first it feels like you're shampooing with sand, but then the crystals dissolve into a fantastically frothy lather and it's all good again. The smell is really perfect too - it's like the ocean breeze and a thunderstorm all rolled into one (hmmm, that sounded a little too much like a feminine hygeniene commercial, but you know what I mean). It costs $17.95, which isn't cheap, but a few crystals go a long way, so if you use it sparingly, you'll get a lot of shampooing out of the container. I also really like the amount of thickness and lift this product gives my hair. It's almost like washing with a volumizer, and who doesn't love extra volume? I definitely advise using a strong conditioner with it because it seems to dry my hair out a little, but that's a small price to pay for hair that I want to sniff all day. (And not in a gross, creepy way either).
