I've only ever bought 100% Pure's body products (shower gel, scrubs...), but the other day, I randomly picked up one of their lip glosses at Bath and Body Works and, because I have zero willpower when it comes to food or makeup, decided to buy it. I was able to convince myself it was a good purchase because I didn't have a lip gloss in that exact shade which, while true, probably won't help my case when I'm forced to declare bankruptcy in a few years. I bought the Sheer Pomegranate Wine color, which they describe as "neutral pink with a dash of shimmer," but I found it to be a little more mauve-y. I like the color though - it's definitely sheer, but not see-thru and it tastes delicious. It made me want to try an actual pomegranate, which I've never had the desire to do before, so score one for them. But beware, the description says that it'll "slightly" plump your lips. Hhhm. Slightly for me meant, "not at all." Then again, I wasn't buying it for that anyway, so I wasn't too upset. And it was only $13, so you can afford to just layer a lip plumper on top of it if you really need bigger lips. All in all, I'm glad to see my old favorite 100% Pure branching out into makeup. Now I'd like them to make me a chocolate flavored eyeliner. Would I really use it? I don't know, but the idea sounds intriguing, doesn't it?
